Lake Wales Christian Counseling is a
Jesus Christ based ministry located in
Central Florida
.
We
specialize in applying biblical principles to practical counseling.
Our services are distinctly Christian, and we offer a variety of
counseling options, including E-Counseling and DVD compilations.
Our
Purpose
The Purpose of Lake Wales Christian
Counseling is to provide a safe environment in which each person is able
to develop skills to put past experiences into proper perspective, work
at solutions to present problems, and gain strength to make positive
choices for the future.
Our Mission
Our
Mission
is to provide competent, caring counseling and ministry to the beautiful
town of Lake Wales and surrounding cities of Polk County. We also serve Highlands County, as well as the Central Florida area.

Jeff
is from Lake Wales, Florida and is the oldest of two brothers. His parents and brother still reside in the area. He graduated from Lake Wales High School and received his BA in Elementary/Early Childhood Concentration from Warner Southern College.
Jeff's continuing education includes an MA in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He has completed additional graduate studies from Nova Southeastern University.
He is a Certified Addictions Professional,a Certified Mental Health Professional, and a Substance Abuse Professional. Jeff has also completed studies as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator.
Jeff has numerous CEU's in the Co-occurring field (Addictions and Dual-disorders) and has worked for several years at the Transitional Aftercare Counselor for an Addictions and Dual-disorders residential treatment center. He speaks throughout the state and at conferences, and was also the clinical director for the same center for a period of time. Jeff has also worked several years at a runaway shelter for youth, ages 12-17.
Both Jeff and Kim are asked to speak at various events, are both members of the Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce, and First Assembly of God in Lake Wales. Jeff is also a contributing member of the Rotary Club of Lake Wales.
Kim and Jeff have two lovable yellow labs named Hercules and Samson, and also a Springer Spaniel named "Molly". Kim is quite the fisherwoman and loves the outdoors. Of course, window shopping, antiques, and going "out" to dinner are some of Kim's favorite past times as well.
Jeff is an avid outdoorsman and some of his closest moments to Christ have been in the woods with his nephew Sammy, and brothers-in-law, Monkey and Curtis. He has also been restoring a 1950 8n Ford tractor (actually, his neighbor Rick has been doing the majority of the labor, but Jeff is very supportive!..smile.)
Jeff and Kim just love being together and serving Christ through their counseling ministry, and it has been a tremendous blessing to them both.
